Our teams education portfolio is extensive from minor works to large scale contracts spanning the whole of the South West over the last 20 years. We are very experienced at working within live school environments and fully understand the needs of this sector at all levels of primary, secondary and university type projects.
Our defence experience extends to work completed at nearly every facility in the South West. We have worked at the Royal Citadel, Stonehouse Barracks, CTCRM Lympstone, RNAS Culdrose, RAF St Mawgan, Devonport Dockyard, RMB Chivenor, HMS Raleigh, Ernesettle and Oakhampton Camp.
Some of our most rewarding work have been completed in this Sector dating back to 1999 when Carl Heslop was heavily involved in the restoration of the Royal William Yard in Plymouth. Since then he has overseen schemes with various heritage clients such as the National Trust and English Heritage.
Schemes delivered by the team include office refurbishments for bespoke clients to larger commercial projects and new builds to provide business expansion or alteration. Obedair has extensive experience in this sector and truly understand that commercial clients have a business to run and require each project to be delivered on time and snag free which we have extensive experience in achieving. The team have also carried out many schemes for national landlords looking to refurbish properties in between lease periods for market.
We have been fortunate over the years to work at many Industrial companies to deliver small and large scale works in and around a Iive environment ensuring that manufacture and business is as usual. Clients the team have worked for include Ratio plastics, JDS Uniphase, Carlsberg and Riverford Foods.
This sector is one that our team have worked within for many years. Carl Heslop has overseen many schemes within Derriford Hospital including the refurbishment of the Shipley Ward, the remodelling of the X ray department and managed the complete refurbishment of the Glenbourne unit which he personally handed over snag free.
